STEEL SERVICES
Extensive experience in both structural steel and plate-work fabrication Maxfel Steel Services offers a wide variety of workshop steel fabrication and on-site services. Maxfel’s fully equipped workshop in Rustenburg is built on a 1.5Ha site, with a 4000 square metre covered area. The division employs highly skilled artisans, who all have extensive experience in both structural steel and plate-work fabrication.
Dedicated teams for site installations, rigging, steel erection and general on-site steel maintenance are available. Maxfel Steel Services works closely in conjunction with Maxfel Projects on all major steel projects. The division also undertakes all steel fabrication work for Maxfel Process Technologies. All finishing work, including sandblasting and painting, is executed by the Corrosion Protection division.
Structural Steel
Maxfel Steel Services offers comprehensive coverage of non-sway,braced, construction; the system that is most widely used in mineral processing buildings that are up to six storeys high. The division provides steel structures for workshops, industrial buildings and stores; and fabrication of conveyor gantries, complete with trestles. General structural steel construction is available on request.
Platework
The fabrication of chutes, tanks, launders, hoppers, explosive carts,ducting, plate assemblies and general related plate work is offered.
On-Site Erection & Installation
Erection and installation of all forms of fabricated steel work is done onsite by dedicated Maxfel site crews.
Site Maintenance
General steel work maintenance contracts undertaken on-site. General boilermaker site maintenance crews provided.
