MAXFEL RUBBER
Maxfel Rubber brings with it sound knowledge and extensive experience in the industry. The division is the primary contract holder with Anglo Platinum for the rubber lining of steel equipment in the Rustenburg, Bushveld Complex, and Northern areas. Maxfel Rubber is also the proud owner of the SPECFLEX ’99 brand, a leading rubber product specially engineered for high wear applications, serving as a cost effective alternative in anti-wear linings.
Maxfel Rubber offers lining using a variety of natural rubbers, synthetic rubbers and the revolutionary Specflex 99. Curing of the rubber is achieved either by using the autoclave vulcanization system (steam cure) or a chemical process (chemical cure). Rubber lining is performed in accordance with SABS 1198. A comprehensive analysis is conducted to determine the most suitable type of rubber for each application.

Maxfel conducts a comprehensive analysis to determine the appropriate rubber for each client application. A suitable rubber (natural or synthetic, thickness mm, hardness, shaw, etc.) is selected based on the environment to which the rubber is subjected.
Eliminate unnecessary and over-expenditure
Many of Maxfel’s clients have benefitted from their process of choosing the correct rubber.
Factors influencing rubber selection
Correct rubber selection depends upon the type of product that the rubber will be exposed to, the speed at which the product will move over the rubber, temperatures to which the rubber will be subjected, and the particle size of products that will come into contact with the rubber.
